Mbroglio is a stylistic adaptation of Imbroglio. The word is laden with the meanings of conflict, incentive, creativity, adventure, problems, challenge of all kinds, and the continuing commandment of life that we persist. We choose and decide, evade and embrace, every day. We exist in a hub of moral codes, urgent desires, social and personal obligations, ambition, fear, and vested interests.
Mbroglio is a website of the creative initiatives expressed through Imbroglio Press and Imbroglio Theatre. Both were established by Alan Segal. In recent years he moved from the academic trend of his life as a sociologist and an academic of social change, to the theatre. He is now a playwright, and an author.
